Construction Concept
The theme is a next-generation refrigerated warehouse that is friendly to nature and people, and environmentally conscious, using natural refrigerants (NH3, CO2) and non-fluorocarbon urethane. In addition, by using high-efficiency equipment such as energy-saving refrigeration machines and LED lighting, the facility reduces running costs while maximizing the use of self-generated natural energy through solar power generation equipment.

★Food Defense Measures (Protecting Customer Cargo)
→Entry/Exit System: A facial recognition system is installed for access to the refrigerator building.
→Surveillance Camera System: Cameras are installed both outside and in the cold storage rooms.
Labor and Manpower Reduction
★Automated Rack : 15,120 PL
→Storage Method: 5 stacker cranes (double-deep type)
Each stacker crane can access two rows on each side, totaling four rows, improving storage efficiency and reducing cycle time.
→Load Collapse Correction: Escorter (installed on each stacker crane): Allows correction of load collapse or pallet misalignment during transport.
→Transport Method (High-Speed Cart): 10 Sorting Transfer Vehicles (STV): Transports cargo to multiple inbound/outbound conveyors and picking stations, responding immediately to increased workloads.
★Mobile Shelves 2,436 PL + Cargo Navigation System
Introduced for labor and manpower reduction. The integration with mobile shelves allows even inexperienced workers to perform accurate inbound and outbound operations without confusion, improving operational accuracy, reducing labor hours, and rationalizing warehouse operations.
Energy-Saving and Environmental Equipment
★Solar Power Generation Equipment: Generation Capacity 880 kW
Solar panels are installed on the roofs of the refrigerator and office buildings, with an expected annual generation of approximately 1,200,000 kWh. Upon completion, the total generation capacity of the Yokorei Group is expected to be about 11.7 MW.
★LED Lighting (Entire Refrigerator and Office Buildings)
Compared to fluorescent lamps, LED lighting is longer-lasting, more energy-efficient, and generates less heat, preventing temperature rise inside the storage and contributing to energy savings in cooling equipment.
★Non-Fluorocarbon Insulation Material
Non-fluorocarbon material is used for insulation panels, preventing greenhouse gas emissions during thermal insulation work. The thickness of the insulation is designed with a heat transfer rate of 6.5 W/m² or less, enhancing energy efficiency and serving as a BCP measure.
Cooling Equipment
★Energy-Saving Natural Refrigerant Cooling Equipment
Introduces energy-saving refrigeration machines using natural refrigerants ammonia and CO2. The energy-saving effect is a 33% reduction compared to conventional ammonia refrigeration machines and a 31% reduction compared to fluorocarbon refrigeration machines.
★ Positive Pressure Air Conditioning System (For Ground Floor Cold Rooms: x2 Units)
Excellent dehumidification capability in low-temperature ranges, preventing condensation and stabilizing room temperature, enabling advanced quality control. Reducing outside air intrusion also decreases the cooling load in cold rooms and storage, leading to reduced electricity consumption.
BCP Measures
★ Automatic Rack Equipment Power Outage Measures [UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) 250 KVA]
A battery is installed to operate the automatic racks for about 20 minutes during a power outage, allowing cargo left on conveyors or carts to be stored in the automatic rack warehouse.
★ Office Power Outage Measures [UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) 15 KVA, Diesel Generator 150 KVA]
During a power outage, lighting and outlet backup is possible for 10 minutes with UPS, and long-term power outages or air conditioning backup are handled by a diesel generator.
